Got it to work by changing time to 00.00.00 but it will only update the first list. What am I doing wrong?

Hello,
I have been using this succesfully for a few months and it stopped working all of a sudden. It has been two days that it just doesn't update anymore. What could be the problem and how can I troubleshoot it?
Appreciate your assistance!

If it helps, the playlist itself says it was updated two days ago. I got the update function to run manually through the spreadsheet, and the timestamp is for today, but no videos have shown up on the playlist, which continues to say that it was updated two days ago.
I tried to run the update function again, and the timestamp no longer changes. It is stuck on an earlier time today.

Hello again, if anyone is there. I really miss my new vid playlist! Today I got a report from AppScripts on my gmail account. It said the update script tried to run every hour, but could not because authorization was required. I tried to run manually again, gave authorization (again), but my playlist is still empty. Let me know if there is anything I can do.

I have also been having issues with my second playlist not being updated. I will be taking a look at it tomorrow guys and I will see if I can figure out what is wrong.

Hi, I wonder if I could get a little help please? First of all, I love this system, it's brilliant. And I've got it working for one channel I follow, channel owner doesn't believe in playlists and this sorted it out fine. However, I setup a second playlist for all my subscriptions to go into (coupled with the javascript code to remove watched it would be an awesome way to keep up), however, with the second playlist set to ALL, I get nothing at all going in there but my first playlist is still adding videos fine. Any ideas? thanks

OK everyone, I have solved this issue that was causing only the first playlist to update. First for the Fix. For those that do not want to manually implement the fix, go to pastebin.com/U7W9v5ki and copy the code there and replace your current code. For those of you who want to manually fix the issue, you must copy the code at line 48 (if (!debugFlag_dontUpdateTimestamp)......) to a new line between 72 and 73. Then comment out line 48 by placing /// in front of it. For those wondering why this was an issue, line 48 was causing the TimeStamp in the sheet to be updated after the first row was processed, thus when it hit the second row it was looking for videos posted after the script was started (highly unlikely). Please let me know if this works for you, and let me know if you guys are having any other issues. Once again I did not create the script I am just doing my best to help you guys.

Hello Amned92,
Thank you so much for your help. I am not sure what I am doing wrong. It keeps asking google to authorize every single time the function attempts to run. My tmestamp is not refreshing, and the function never actually runs.
Now I get a daily report with a record of the last day's failed attemtps to run the script.

Mini, I do not have mine automatically setup to run, so I have not run into this issue, but will try and take a look at it this weekend. In the mean time, what happens if you try and manually run the script, does it still ask you to authorize it?

Hey, first time user here. I can't seem to get it to work, even after using Amned92's fix. Everything seemed to go fine with steps 1, 2 and 3. Except now it keeps asking for authorization every time. The first time it asked for permission to manage the channel, and so on, but now it only and always asks for offline permission. No timestamp is added, which besides the fact that the script isn't adding any videos to the playlist I have added, makes me think that something isn't right. This is the setup: i.imgur.com/9VtvGZT.pngThe "test" isn't a mistake, but in fact a user with 4 videos on their channel, so I thought they'd work well for starting out with. I've tried with their channel ID UC7OIF66iuk4yWXNOGluqEXA as well, but it makes no difference. Here's screenshots from the other steps: imgur.com/a/fYZIpAny idea what's wrong?

Also, I forgot to add - I don't know about Mini, but for me, if I click "Run" in the script editor for any function, it will too prompt me to authorize for offline access there too.

So I enabled auto-update for my sheet, and have not had any issues with it asking for permissions repeatedly. The first thing I would recommend trying is copy a new version from the GitHub page, and then re-following the instructions on there on how to authorize it to use the Google APIs, making sure that you follow the third bullet point under "Allow the Sheets to access YouTube". See if that works for you guys, I am thinking it might have been an issue with authorizing it the first time and for some reason it won't hold the auth for some reason. Also what countries are you from, and does you IP happen to change a lot?

Do you accept suggestions? If so: 1: add columns for exceptions (channels which new videos WON'T be added to the playlist). 2: if it is somehow possible, add columns that instead of filtering by channel, filter by keywords on the NAME and/or DESCRIPTION of the video. 3: same as #1, add columns for exceptions, but for #2 (videos with "x" or "y" keyword(s) on the name/description won't be added to the playlist) I do know that i might be asking something that would take a lot of time or that is even impossible to do. Do it only if you find it worthy! So far it has been working perfectly for me, thanks for making this! And sorry if i didn't make it clear, i tried my best
